These amazing results demonstrate the considerable progress made by Higham Lane's sixth form students over the course of their two years of study. Based on the early data, the school expects once again to be one of the top-performing schools in Warwickshire.

The further rise in the proportion of students achieving A*–A grades is particularly impressive and is testament to the determination, ambition and commitment shown by this year group.

I would also like to give my heartfelt thanks to our amazing teachers and support staff; their expertise, dedication and unwavering support for our students have played such an important part in achieving these outstanding outcomes.

Our thanks also go to the parents and carers of our students; their omnipresent support for the school and, most importantly, for their young people has been invaluable in facilitating these outstanding results.”

Ayeshah B (A*, A*, A*, A*) – Following these fantastic results, Ayeshah is still choosing between a degree apprenticeship and an offer to study Maths and Computer Science at Birmingham University.

India L (A*, A*, A* plus A* in EPQ) – India is going on to study Psychology at Durham University.

Dan T, Zane W, Millie M (A*, A*, A*) – Dan is delighted to be studying Maths at Cambridge University from September, whilst Zane is starting an apprenticeship with Triumph. Millie, meanwhile, is embarking on a Law degree at Loughborough University.

Tara M (A*, A*, A*, A) – Tara is looking forward to attending Edinburgh University to pursue a degree in Maths.
