Higham Lane Sixth Form is delighted to announce its latest 2024 set of A-level results. Our students achieved an excellent 28% of grades at A*-A, 59% of grades at A*-B and 82% at A* to C. We achieved a highly credible B- as the average grade per entry.
Higham Lane Sixth Form is delighted to announce its latest set of A level results. Our students achieved an excellent 27% of grades at A*-A, 53% of grades at A*-B and 82% at A* to C. The overall pass rate was 99.3% with a highly creditable B- as the average grade per entry.
On 19 July, a group of Year 12 and 13 students agreed to be filmed sharing advice about their sixth form journey. Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form, Mr Ladha, put his sixth form forward for the opportunity provided by NetSixthForm, a national hub for all sixth form leaders, to be one of three schools across the country to take part.

I am writing to update you on the upcoming national strike action to be taken by the National Education Union (NEU) on Wednesday 5th July and Friday 7th July.
Our exceptional student Zaynah Mulla from Higham Lane Sixth Form is one of fifteen in the West Midlands who has been selected.
Given the disruption caused over the past two years by the pandemic, schools in Nuneaton and Bedworth and other schools in the North of the county have agreed that we will not be sharing our school’s 2022 A level results or highlighting individual student performances this year in the way we normally would. Our focus at this time will be on supporting our students and doing everything we can to ensure that they progress to the next stage of their education, training or employment.
School and Sixth Form is delighted to have achieved its World Class Schools Award, which is the result of a great deal of impressive work from our students and staff. The World Class Schools Quality Mark has a unique assessment framework which assesses the students for their demonstration of World Class skills and competencies.
